Jesus revealed in Matthew 5:17.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. Mathew 5:17.KJV
Jesus Christ did not come to destroy the law but to fill up the defect and so to make it complete. That is Christ made an improvement of the law and the prophets and became the fulfillment of the law and the prophets. This was practically demonstrated at the mount of transfiguration. Jesus took with him Peter, James and John to the top of a high mountain as witnesses to what they will see. In Mathew 17:1, the scripture reported that Jesus Christ was transfigured before them. His body remained the same but appeared in glory and power.
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Matt 17:1-3KJV
The scripture describes two distinct appearances of Chris at the Mount.
a]“His face did shine as the sun”
b] His garment was white as the light.
b] His garment was white as the light.
Peter, James and John saw the brightness that was put on Christ face, the glory radiating from the body did enlightened his clothe and it became white as the light. Suddenly there appeared Moses and Elijah standing for the law and Prophets. Here the law and the Prophets honored Christ and bore testimony of Him. Peter, James and John saw Moses and Elijah as they were communicating with Christ Jesus. What an amazing mystery of the beauty of the Lord, thus Peter asked.
If thou will let us make here three tabernacles.
To this request Jesus Christ did not reply him because he lacked the wisdom of God. Every-man who does not walk in the spirit reaches out to build three tabernacles that is “denominations”.
Then answered Peter and said unto Jesus Lord it is good for us to be here if thou will, let us make here that tabernacle; one for thee, and one for Moses and one for Elias.
Behold a bright cloud overshadowed them and a voice came out of the clouds. It was not as it was like of the old time with lightning and thundering but a gentle voice saying in response to the proposal of Peter describing the building of tabernacle of the Law and Prophets as unacceptable but Christ. God spoke out to their hearing stating thus:
This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear ye him; Matthew 17:5KJV
God did not talk about Moses and Elias nor the law and the prophet but had commanded that all men should hear Christ for He is His beloved. You will notice that denominational spirit in the life of Peter, requesting for three tabernacles having the names of Christ, Moses and Elijah but the response he got from God only introduced Christ with all glory and splendor around Him declaring Him as His beloved Son
and that all men should hear Him. Grace is the revelation of God’s goodness and unmerited favor. The sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ and His subsequent resurrection introduced the dispensation of grace.
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is enforce after men are dead otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth . Heb 9:16-17 KJV
In this dispensation of grace, God is giving righteousness to men. First, He expects us to walk in righteousness having resurrected with Christ Jesus,

Salvation, spiritual maturity and eternal life is granted to those who steadfastly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow His footsteps by walking in the newness of life.
The scripture in John 6:29 reveal the mind of God in this dispensation as Jesus Christ spoke saying
Jesus answered and said unto them this is the work of God that ye believe on Him who He sent. John 6:29.KJV
The Lord again declared in John 6:47
He that believeth on me hath eternal life (John6:47) KJV.
When Peter, James and John heard the voice of God at the mount of transfiguration they were satisfied and never sought for explanations
The lessons drawn from the above scripture are far reaching for everyone not to look up to any prophet elsewhere for their salvation but should humble themselves and hear Christ through His word and by His Spirit. In John 5:24 Jesus confirmed this thought stating thus:
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment but has passed out of death into life. John 5:27 KJV
When the Lord speaks, he supposed to speak once and for us to hear twice but this is not the case because many believers have problems in hearing the Lord. In Job 33:14 the scripture reveals
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man percieveth it not.
Job 33:14. KJV
Jesus Christ declared in John 10:27-28:
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand John 10:27-28 KJV
The first event in the closing of this dispensation of grace will be at the midnight hour when the foolish virgins shall be drawn into darkness and finally into the soon coming Great Tribulation while the wise virgins shall be hid in Christ for the same period of three and a half years.
These wise virgins are of two categories;
At the end of these three and a half years, the Manchild shall give up their lives to be crucified as Christ did. But another mystery occurred that in three and a half days the Spirit of life that resurrected Jesus Christ shall bring them back to life with the New Body. Their death, resurrection and glorification of the Manchild during the Great Tribulation shall cause those that needed to be saved to do so by paying the price with their blood in the hands of the Antichrist, Jezebel, the devil and his cohorts.
These wise virgins are of two categories;
- The Woman Company which is the True Church and
- The Manchild Company.
At the fullness of time God will gather all those in Heaven and on Earth all in Christ. The scripture in Ephesians 1:9-10 confirm this mystery.
