The Hollywood actor says the Republican will be president "when spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes".
Tom Hanks doesn't rate Donald Trump's chances of winning the White House very highly.
The Hollywood star told Sky News: "I think that man will be president right about the time when spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes."
Speaking at the London premiere of his new film, A Hologram For The King, Hanks also poured scorn on the Republican candidate's slogan, Make America Great Again.
"Here's the problem," said Hanks on the red carpet, "America's already great so I don't know what he is talking about."
The actor, along with much of Hollywood, is supporting the campaign of Hillary Clinton, Mr Trump's likely Democratic White House rival.
