The cross river state chapter of the Nigeria Youth Congress(NYC) organises it's first ever security submit in the state's capital; Calabar. This is to hold on the 10th of August, at Transcorp Hotels by 10am prompt.
The youth Congress in cross river chapter has put this together to help tackle the security challenges within the state.
This submit is the first of its kind within the state and will have more than five hundred (500) youths in attendance.
The state chairman, Comrade Daniel Obo said heads of security bodies within the state will be present to address issues.
His words: "We have sent letters to heads of security bodies in the state to come tell us how far they have gone with security. The audience will be given room to ask questions where not clear & suggestions to tackling some security challenges. It will be interactive & informative. Ticket is free, so everyone is welcome"
Also according to him, the security personnel should take advantage of this opportunity to inform the youths of the negative effects of cultism & other social vices on themselves and the state at large. Lastly, when asked if the submit would hold periodically, the state chairman, Daniel Obo said "yes, and it will be better".
