Dmatrixng gathered that the Nigerian Youth Congress of Cross River State, Etung chapter will hold a reception in honour of AIG Mbu Joseph Mbu NPMC PSC (+) Rtd. The reception is scheduled to hold on the 3rd of September, 2016 at the Etung council headquarters, Effraya by 10:00am under the distinguished chairmanship of Elder Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk.

The Etung Chapter chairman of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Comrade Praise Achima while adressing dmatrixng correspondent said the reception is a way of saying thank you to the retired AIG for his numerous contribution to the protection of lives and property. He also added that the AIG has supported the youths of the community and has been a source of inspiration to many.
The reception will have High Chief Dr. Emmanuel Nsan as special guest of honour, Senator John Owan Enoh as guest of honour, Dr. Asu Yakubu Shendam, the National Chairman of NYC, Comrade Dan Obo Jnr; state chairman of NYC, state chairmen from south-south and south-east & other dignitaries from across the state.

Kaching Juliet Manyo; the treasurer of NYC in the state while speaking to dmatrixnews said all preparations regarding the event has been finalised. In her words "We've been working round the clock to make this event a great one. The AIG we are about to honour has imparted in the lives of so many youths within and outside the state and this reception is in recognition of that. Youths from across the south south region will be present to celebrate him".
