Margaret Emefiele, the wife of Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele who was kidnapped by heavily armed abductors on Thursday, has been released.
A source close to Mr. Emefiele told our dmatrixnews that Mrs. Emefiele who was kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road on Thursday alongside four others was released exactly 1 am Nigeria time.
Our source disclosed that the kidnappers who earlier demanded N1.5 billion released Mrs. Emefiele after receiving N80 million ransom.
