Ogun police arrest fake soldiers
ABEOKUTA— Men of Ogun State Police Command, yesterday, arrested two persons for allegedly impersonating as men of the Nigeria Army.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement, said the suspected fake soldiers, Joseph David and Adebayo Ojoye, allegedly extorted and maltreated innocent people in Agbado area of Ogun State.
Oyeyemi said: “David and Ojoye were arrested following a complaint from one Paul Oniyo and Chima Solomon that the two suspects, who wore military camouflage accosted them, beat them up and inflicted injuries on them over a minor disagreement.”
